DJ STAVROS
Host of Private Frequency. House with a long memory.
Stavros grew up between the record shops of Monastiraki and the open-air cinemas of Galatsi, which explains both the patience and the drama in his sets. He builds slowly — dub-wise house, a little Chicago jack, then the turn into stripped techno once the room has earned it.
Private Frequency started as a late-night experiment: two hours, no talking, one continuous mix recorded live to the station's desk. It became the show listeners plan their Thursday around.
